Tillman Global Holdings' TDGAP1 is a planned 300MW AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with Rs 15,000 crore investment under MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The TDGAP1 campus is a planned 300MW hyperscale AI data centre development in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Andhra Pradesh, India, developed by Tillman Global Holdings under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. With a proposed investment of Rs 15,000 crore (approximately $1.7 billion), the TDGAP1 campus spans approximately 40 acres and is designed to support large-scale AI training, inference, and enterprise cloud workloads. The project forms part of Andhra Pradesh's broader strategy to position Visakhapatnam as a major AI and data infrastructure hub.
Tillman Global Holdings is an international infrastructure investment and development firm with extensive experience in telecommunications, tower infrastructure, and digital infrastructure across multiple global markets. The TDGAP1 campus represents one of the most significant AI infrastructure commitments in Andhra Pradesh, complementing other major projects in the state including Google's $15 billion AI Hub with AdaniConneX and Airtel, which is also located in Visakhapatnam and encompasses multiple campuses. Together, these investments are establishing Vizag as one of South Asia's most important emerging data centre markets.
Andhra Pradesh's selection of Visakhapatnam as the location for these investments reflects the city's combination of strategic assets: access to renewable energy, a deepwater port, proximity to subsea cable routes, and strong state government support through streamlined approvals and infrastructure incentives. The TDGAP1 campus is designed to align with India's national AI mission and the government's ambition to build domestic AI capacity at scale, supporting both domestic enterprise demand and international hyperscaler requirements for sovereign AI infrastructure in India.
