Zantel Data Centre Dar es Salaam

Zantel Data Centre is a telecommunications and data centre facility operated by Zantel (Zanzibar Telecom), located on Mwai Kibaki Road/Old Bagamoyo Road in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Zantel is one of Tanzania's established telecommunications operators, providing mobile, broadband, and enterprise connectivity services across the mainland and the islands of Zanzibar. The data centre facility supports Zantel's network infrastructure and provides colocation services to enterprise customers. The facility hosts eight networks and provides access to Zantel's carrier connectivity, making it a useful interconnection point for businesses and network operators in the Dar es Salaam area. As part of Zantel's broader telecommunications infrastructure, the data centre enables businesses to access reliable hosting environments with direct connectivity to Zantel's national fibre network and international submarine cable capacity. Tanzania's telecommunications sector has grown significantly over recent years, driven by increased demand for mobile broadband, enterprise connectivity, and government digital services. Zantel's data centre in Dar es Salaam supports this growth by providing critical infrastructure for businesses seeking secure, carrier-connected colocation in one of East Africa's most important commercial cities.
