Raxio, TZ1, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Raxio's Tier III carrier-neutral data centre in Dar es Salaam, connecting Tanzania to regional submarine cables and the pan-African Raxio network.
Raxio TZ1 is a carrier-neutral, Tier III-designed data centre located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, operated by Raxio Group as part of its expanding pan-African data centre portfolio. TZ1 was developed to address Tanzania's growing demand for high-quality, reliable colocation and connectivity infrastructure to support the country's digital economy growth.
Strategically located in Dar es Salaam β Tanzania's commercial hub and East Africa's second-largest city β Raxio TZ1 connects to the SEACOM, EASSy, TEAMS, and DARE-1 submarine cable systems via the city's cable landing stations. The facility provides direct peering at the Tanzania Internet Exchange (TISPA-IX) and offers cross-connect services to major telecoms operators, ISPs, cloud providers, and content delivery networks.
Raxio TZ1 serves the needs of financial services companies, e-government platforms, international organisations, and technology firms operating across Tanzania and the wider East African region. It forms a key node in Raxio's strategy to create an interconnected network of carrier-neutral data centres across sub-Saharan Africa.
