RiverHook Village 18 AI Campus - Pindamonhangaba, Brazil
RiverHook Village 18 is a planned 150–300MW hyperscale AI campus in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo state, representing one of South America's largest data centre investments at up to R$10 billion.
RiverHook Village 18 is an ambitious hyperscale AI data centre campus planned for Pindamonhangaba in the interior of São Paulo state, Brazil. Announced in April 2026 during the launch of the Investe Pinda municipal investment platform, the project calls for development of a site spanning more than 500,000 square metres along Via Estrutural, a new highway connecting SP-62 to the Feital Industrial District. The initial installed capacity of 150MW, with potential expansion to 300MW, represents one of the largest hyperscale AI infrastructure investments ever proposed for South America.
The financial investment starts at R$5 billion (approximately USD $965 million) and could reach R$10 billion ($1.9 billion) across subsequent phases. RiverHook Village – whose name is a loose English translation of "Pindamonhangaba" from the indigenous Tupi language – is designed to serve large cloud infrastructure providers and AI-driven companies requiring massive processing capacity. The facility will employ waterless cooling technology to eliminate the need for traditional evaporative cooling towers, a critical design choice given growing pressure on regional water resources.
The project was incorporated in November 2025 by partners including Indo-Bras United and LetsGoFusion, led by technology executive Fabio Gordon who has held senior positions at IBM, Oracle, and Dell in Brazil. Construction is planned to begin in October 2026, with the facility targeted for operational readiness by June 2028. Pindamonhangaba's selection was driven by the city's energy availability, including approval for an additional 150MW of dedicated power capacity, and its position along the São Paulo state interior corridor that connects major industrial and logistics hubs.
