NorthVault AI Data Center Campus (Ontario)

NorthVault AI is a newly launched data centre company planning a campus in Ontario, Canada, with its founding leadership based in London, Ontario. Announced in June 2026, the company has secured a site with 4MW of grid power immediately available, scaling to 43.75MW by Q3 2027, and targeting a long-term build-out of 120MW. The campus is designed specifically for AI and high-performance computing workloads, featuring direct-to-chip liquid cooling with closed-loop systems to support the high power density demands of modern GPU infrastructure. A key differentiator for the NorthVault campus is its connectivity profile: the site is served by three independent carriers over diverse dark fibre routes to both Toronto and Chicago, providing the redundant, low-latency connectivity that AI inference and training workloads require. The company has positioned itself as solving two critical constraints for AI operators — power availability and high-quality network connectivity — on a deployment timeline described as among the fastest available in North America. NorthVault is actively pursuing neocloud operators and AI and high-performance computing tenants, and is accepting capacity reservations against the initial 4MW availability. Ontario has emerged as a growing data centre market benefiting from Canada's abundant renewable hydroelectric power, a skilled technical workforce, and proximity to major US markets. NorthVault's AI-focused campus adds purpose-built liquid-cooled capacity to this market at a time of significant demand growth driven by AI infrastructure investment across North America.
