AI-ready hyperscale campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa; two buildings totalling ~200MW under construction with first building topped out June 2026.
Edged is developing a major AI-ready data center campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa, known internally as Project Lola. Located at the intersection of College Road and E Kanesville Boulevard, the two-building campus spans approximately 570,000 square feet of gross floor area and is designed for up to 200MW of total IT capacity. The first building was topped out in June 2026, with the second structure set to follow in September 2026, marking significant milestones in one of the Midwest's most ambitious hyperscale data center developments.
The facility is engineered to support large-scale AI workloads, with high-density power infrastructure and advanced cooling systems suited to next-generation GPU deployments. Turner Construction is serving as general contractor on the project. The campus benefits from Council Bluffs' strategic position adjacent to Omaha, Nebraska, offering excellent fibre connectivity and access to reliable regional power grid infrastructure.
Edged β formerly known as Edged Energy and part of the Endeavour group founded by Aligned Data Centers veteran Jakob Carnemark β operates a growing portfolio of data centres across the United States and Europe, including facilities in Spain, Portugal, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, and Arizona. The Council Bluffs campus represents the company's first major presence in the Midwest market, targeting neocloud operators and AI-driven enterprise tenants requiring large-scale, low-latency compute infrastructure.
