Vantage Santa Clara CA2 is a hyperscale data center campus located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, operated by Vantage Data Centers. Sited on nine acres less than two miles from Vantage's flagship Santa Clara campus, CA2 comprises three four-story data centers delivering over 541,000 square feet of data center space and 75 MW of critical IT load, bringing total expanded capacity in Santa Clara to 152 MW combined.
The CA2 campus features state-of-the-art electrical equipment with N+1 redundancy across all systems, powered by Silicon Valley Power (SVP) with three on-site 50 MW transformers and 415/240V electrical distribution. The cooling system uses a highly efficient chilled water loop with water-side economizers and integrated economizer capability, minimizing water consumption while maximizing cooling efficiency and sustainability through the use of reclaimed water.
The campus offers diverse fiber paths with four points-of-entry (POEs) and multiple available carriers providing robust connectivity options. Security features include onsite operations center patrols 24x7x365, perimeter fencing, 200+ CCTV cameras, and a minimum of five security layers protecting each customer's data module. Sustainability initiatives include renewable energy credits from SVP, electric vehicle charging stations, and LED lighting with motion sensors.
