Vantage Millersport Campus - Millersport, Ohio
Up to 800MW campus in Millersport, Ohio near Columbus. Five buildings planned, with on-site power generation. First phase due 2027.
Vantage Data Centers is planning a major data centre campus near the intersection of State Route 204 and State Route 37 in Millersport, Fairfield County, Ohio, approximately 28 miles west of Columbus. The Fairfield County commissioners have annexed 500 acres from Walnut Township to the village of Millersport to accommodate the development.
Current plans suggest up to five single-storey buildings ranging from 120MW to approximately 250MW each, for a combined potential capacity of around 800MW. The campus will reportedly feature a large amount of on-site, behind-the-meter power generation, with some reports suggesting the facility may rely primarily on on-site power. Construction is expected to begin before the end of 2025, with the first building targeted to go live in 2027.
Millersport is located southwest of the Columbus data centre hub of New Albany, which is home to several hyperscale campuses. The Millersport development represents part of Vantage's aggressive expansion strategy across Ohio, which already includes a campus under development in New Albany. Ohio's combination of affordable land, competitive electricity rates, and central US location continues to attract major data centre investment.
