Vantage Lighthouse Campus - Port Washington, Wisconsin
Hyperscale 902MW Stargate AI campus for OpenAI and Oracle in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Four buildings, 2.5M sq ft at full build-out.
Vantage Data Centers' Lighthouse campus in Port Washington, Wisconsin is a landmark hyperscale development being built for OpenAI and Oracle as part of the Stargate AI initiative. Located on a 672-acre site north of Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan, the campus will deliver 902MW of IT capacity across four buildings spanning 2.5 million square feet at full build-out.
The facility employs advanced closed-loop liquid cooling systems to support high-density AI workloads, with no reliance on open water sources. At peak construction, the development is expected to employ approximately 5,000 workers. Once operational, the campus will enable more than 1,000 permanent jobs and an estimated 6,000 indirect jobs across Wisconsin.
The site was formerly earmarked for potential semiconductor fabrication and was subsequently acquired from powered land provider Cloverleaf Infrastructure by Vantage. The first buildings are targeted to go live in 2028, making this one of the most significant AI infrastructure investments in the Upper Midwest.
