Singaporean AI infrastructure provider SuperX AI Technology, in partnership with three Japanese companies — Digital Dynamic (data center operator and GPU provider), eole (an advertising and digital infrastructure company), and Woodman (a green-energy-focused data center provider) — is developing a 4MW liquid-cooled AI data center pilot facility in Mie Prefecture, central Japan.
The facility, to be operated through SuperX's Japanese subsidiary SuperX Industries Co., is designated as a pilot initiative to validate the technical and commercial feasibility of a future large-scale 300MW campus in Japan. Mie Prefecture forms the eastern portion of the Kansai region, which encompasses Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe, and currently has no established data center presence, making this a significant expansion of Japan's AI compute geography.
SuperX AI Technology offers proprietary hardware, advanced software, and end-to-end services for AI data centres, including NVIDIA B200, B300, and GB300-based rack-scale systems. The company is also developing AI compute deployments in Singapore, Indonesia, and the United States, positioning itself as a multi-region AI infrastructure provider.
