Raxio, DRC1, Kinshasa, DR Congo

Raxio DRC1 is the Democratic Republic of Congo's first carrier-neutral, Tier III-designed data centre, developed by Raxio Group in Kinshasa — the country's capital and one of Africa's largest cities. The facility was established to address the DRC's significant infrastructure gap in the digital sector and to support the country's growing digital economy and e-government initiatives. With a population of over 100 million people and abundant natural resources, the DRC represents one of Africa's largest untapped digital markets. Raxio DRC1 provides critical colocation and connectivity infrastructure for telecoms operators, financial institutions, international NGOs, mining companies, and government agencies. The facility connects to regional fibre networks and submarine cable systems providing onward connectivity to global internet infrastructure. Raxio DRC1 is part of Raxio Group's pan-African strategy to establish high-quality data centre infrastructure in markets previously underserved by commercial-grade facilities. The centre supports the DRC's aspirations to join the community of digitally connected African nations and enables local businesses to access cloud services and international connectivity at globally competitive standards.
