Planned 18MW AI/HPC data center in Dardilly, near Lyon, France, being developed through a partnership between Abu Dhabi-listed cryptominer/digital infrastructure firm Phoenix Group and DC Max (an affiliate of Freo Group). Land, permits, grid connection and power have been secured. Construction is expected to begin in July 2026, with delivery targeted for Q4 2027 to Q1 2028. This is Phoenix Group's first European AI data center as it pivots from cryptomining to AI and HPC infrastructure.
