nLighten's Liverpool edge data centre (LPL1) is a high-availability, secure colocation facility located in south Liverpool, close to the M53 motorway and approximately 40 minutes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The facility offers 1,765 mΒ² of dedicated colocation space and 9,600 kW of end-state power capacity, capable of housing high-density cabinets ranging from 15 kW to 150+ kW per rack, making it suitable for AI-ready workloads.
The facility is carrier-neutral with diverse fibre entry points and meet-me areas, providing strategic access to all major fibre networks within the UK and connectivity to over 65 carriers and partners across the nLighten European footprint. A modular aisle and services containment system ensures fast, scalable hardware deployment alongside a growing on-site partner ecosystem.
Designed to a Tier III target with cooling and humidity systems complying with ASHRAE A1 allowable standards, LPL1 provides businesses across northwest England with fast, low-latency connectivity. On-site remote hands engineers are available to assist with hardware installation, network connectivity, and technical support.
