Microsoft MNZ07 Wellington Data Center is a planned Microsoft campus at 13490 University Boulevard, outside Gainesville in Prince William County, Virginia. Microsoft has filed with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, to develop two one-story data centre buildings and an on-site substation on 123 acres on the east side of University Boulevard, south of Interstate 66 and north of Wellington Road. The project is needed to address expanding customer demand for cloud platform services in the region. Microsoft acquired the 124-acre site in 2024 from Chuck Kuhn for $465.5 million.
