MARA Data Center in Granbury (Hood County), Texas is a large-scale digital asset data center originally developed as a 300-megawatt facility by Compute North. MARA (Marathon Digital Holdings) acquired the site in January 2024 and began full operations in April 2024. The facility has been progressively transitioned from air-cooled container infrastructure to liquid immersion cooling, with the majority of the site converted to immersion cooling technology. MARA employs over 21 local team members at the site and has invested in extensive soundproofing improvements including a sound wall.
