The facility features innovative free-air cooling (Coolwall technology) with large water-filled heat exchanger modules, achieving a design PUE under 1.3 and optimal temperature control. Powered exclusively by renewable energy, FRA02 actively reduces CO₂ emissions and enables waste heat recovery that can be fed into the local district heating network or used to heat adjacent office buildings. The single-tenant colocation facility delivers 8 MW of IT capacity across 5,000 m² of IT space, certified to TÜV Availability Class 3 (DIN EN 50600 VK3), ISO 27001:2022, and ISO 9001:2015, with rotating UPS systems in an isolated-parallel bus configuration for uninterruptible power supply.
