Real estate developer Karis, through its Karis Critical data center division, is targeting land near Dubuque Regional Airport in Dubuque County, Iowa for a data center campus. The company is looking to purchase hundreds of acres for the development. The project is subject to a 12-month county-wide moratorium on data centers implemented following community concerns. Karis Critical has assembled over 1,500 acres and 3GW of potential capacity nationally.
