Das Informationstechnikzentrum Bund (ITZBund) is the central IT service provider of the German federal government, operating data centres at 12 locations nationwide including Frankfurt am Main. The organisation provides hosting, IT operations, software development and e-government services to over 200 federal authorities, maintaining 99 petabytes of storage capacity with 4,600 staff focused on digital sovereignty, data security, and modernisation of federal IT infrastructure.
