Edged's first US data centre campus at Tilford Yard, Atlanta, Georgia. 168MW at full build, 27MW Phase 1 now live.
Edged Data Centers has launched its first North American data centre campus at 1800 Tilford Yard in Atlanta, Georgia, located on the site of a formerly vacant brownfield. The campus will feature three data centre buildings at full build-out, providing 168MW of IT capacity. The first building, delivering 27MW, is now operational, marking a significant milestone as Edged's inaugural US facility.
The campus uses a modular building approach that supports rack densities of up to 70kW per rack with air cooling, utilising Edged's proprietary ThermalWorks waterless cooling system. The development was supported by Develop Fulton and is expected to generate nearly $70 million in tax revenue over ten years, alongside hundreds of jobs and millions in funding for Atlanta public schools and city services. The total economic impact is estimated at $1.69 billion.
Atlanta is a major US data centre hub, home to operators including Microsoft, CoreSite, QTS, DataBank, Flexential, Switch, DC Blox, Stack, T5, and Vantage. Edged's entry into the Atlanta market, specifically in Fulton County, positions the company alongside some of the industry's largest operators in one of the southeastern United States' most important digital infrastructure markets.
