An $8.8 billion, 1GW data center campus proposed by property developer Eagle Rock in Christian County, central Illinois. The 475-acre site would consist of ten 100MW data center buildings using closed-loop cooling. Construction is not expected to begin until 2029 or 2030 even if approved.
