DC BLOX Birmingham is a 31,000 square foot colocation facility located in downtown Birmingham, Alabama near UAB's campus and the Innovation Depot. It is the first multi-tenant data center in the state of Alabama to receive Uptime Institute's Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF), ensuring the facility is concurrently maintainable with no shutdowns during equipment maintenance. The facility supports up to 5 MW of critical load with expansion capacity up to 60 MW, offers carrier-neutral connectivity with 100G+ optical capacity, and features enhanced security built to CUI standards with 24x7x365 manned security.
