DVZ Datenverarbeitungszentrum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH is the IT service provider for the public administration of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Based in Schwerin, it supports the state's digital administration with more than 750 staff and operates a high-security data centre alongside workplace, cloud and specialist public-sector IT services.
The high-security data centre occupies 500 square metres and is stated to deliver 99.9% availability. DVZ also reports operating around 3,500 virtual server instances and 2.5 petabytes of storage for the state administration.
