Dataprana Houston Site 2 is a 47MW greenfield data centre campus situated in the greater Houston, Texas metropolitan area, representing the second of two adjacent land parcels acquired by AI infrastructure firm Dataprana in June 2026. The site benefits from proximity to an active substation and is targeting Phase I energisation in Q1 2027, with full energisation projected for mid-to-late 2027. Like its sister site, the facility is engineered to support small-to-mid-scale AI and high-performance computing deployments, employing pre-fabricated construction methods to accelerate time-to-market for customers seeking rapid access to energised capacity.
The two Houston sites collectively represent 92MW of planned capacity and reflect Dataprana's expanding infrastructure strategy under its Prana Energy land and power division. The company has positioned itself as a specialist in identifying, securing, and energising sites that can deliver operational data centre capacity within a two-year window β a proposition that traditional hyperscale developers and greenfield projects are rarely able to match.
