Crusoe is developing a 1.6GW AI data center campus in Warrenton, Missouri, with two massive buildings covering 340 acres, serving Meta.
Crusoe Energy Systems is developing a major data center campus in Warrenton, Missouri, located on approximately 340 acres at 22151 NW Service Road. The campus is designed to support hyperscale AI workloads, with two primary data center buildings each spanning 805,000 square feet (74,786 sqm) and a 40,000 sq ft administration building. The facility is part of a 1.6GW capacity agreement reportedly signed with Meta, making it one of the largest AI infrastructure commitments in the US Midwest.
Missouri's central location, access to transmission infrastructure, and moderate climate make Warrenton an attractive site for large-scale data centre development. The campus sits west of St. Louis in Warren County, benefiting from proximity to major fibre routes and the regional power grid while maintaining lower operating costs than coastal markets.
Crusoe specialises in purpose-built AI data centres that combine efficient cooling, high-density power delivery, and renewable-aligned energy sourcing. The Warrenton campus is expected to become one of the company's flagship Midwest facilities, supporting next-generation AI training and inference for enterprise customers seeking large, reliable GPU compute capacity.
