Cerebras Mikkeli Data Center is a 165MW AI data centre campus under construction in Mikkeli, Finland, about 230km northeast of Helsinki. Cerebras revealed plans on 1 September 2026 and construction on the first 50MW phase has begun, in partnership with Compute Nordic Finland.
The campus will be built in phases, starting at 50MW before scaling to 80MW and later 165MW. Investment is expected at €1bn–€1.7bn ($1.16bn–$1.97bn). The facility will use closed-loop cooling and is designed for waste-heat recovery to supply excess heat to the local community.
Compute Nordic had previously expanded land holdings in Mikkeli, with earlier reports suggesting two 100MW data centres could be built on the site. Source: Data Center Dynamics, 2 September 2026.
