Buzz HPC's Montreal AI cloud deployment is a 1.4MW GPU computing facility operated by Buzz HPC, the AI infrastructure and cloud division of Hive Digital Technologies, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Montreal serves as Buzz's eastern Canadian operational base, providing enterprise organisations, AI developers, and government agencies with access to Nvidia-based GPU clusters including H100, A6000, A5000, A40, and H200 accelerators for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. Quebec's clean, renewable hydroelectric power base makes the Montreal deployment one of the most sustainable GPU cloud operations in North America.
Montreal has long been recognised as Canada's AI research capital, home to world-leading AI research institutions including Mila (the Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute), the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (now part of Mila), and major AI research labs operated by Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and other international technology companies.
