AWS Maintal Data Center - Frankfurt Region, Germany

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has revealed plans for a new data center in Maintal, in the Hesse region of Germany, north of Frankfurt am Main. The site stretches over 10.6 hectares (26 acres) and will host two server facilities, a substation, and offices. Up to 100 permanent jobs will be created. The facility is part of AWS's $9.44bn investment in its Frankfurt region, primarily air-cooled with rainwater-based supplemental cooling.
