Poland's second AI Factory: 10 exaflop supercomputer at ACK Cyfronet in Kraków. 1,000+ GPU accelerators, €82m, operational 2027.
Poland's second AI Factory supercomputer, located at the ACK Cyfronet data center in Kraków. The Gaia AI Factory will harness more than 1,000 GPU accelerators delivering 10 exaflops of compute, facilitating the training of advanced AI models and research into AI applications for education, healthcare, and public administration. Total estimated cost: 300 million PLN ($82m), jointly funded by Poland and the European Union. Overseen by ACK Cyfronet, a spinout of AGH University of Kraków, founded in 1973. Scheduled to begin operations in 2027, Gaia forms part of the EU-backed European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking.
