RECRUITING ACROSS DIFFERENT AREAS

DigitalBridge owned data center platform Scala Data Centers, has today announced the opening of more than 100 new job positions that will support the company’s portfolio expansion process in Latin America.

According to Scala, there are more than 45 positions in the Engineering and Construction areas and more than 30 positions in the Operation and Backoffice areas, working in Controllership, Treasury, Project Management, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Occupational Safety, Systems Administration, Network and Security, ESG, among others.

“In just over a year, our workforce has increased to over 300 people. It is an accelerated and expressive growth, which requires a very targeted recruitment, in which we look for professionals who value a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with respect and transparency to generate a positive impact on business and society,” said Leandro Sulinscki, People & Workplace director at Scala Data Centers.

Before rebranding as DigitalBridge, Digital Colony, the digital infrastructure investment arm of Colony Capital, established Scala Data Centers through the acquisition of data center facilities from UOL Diveo in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Scala further stated that there are more than 20 open positions in Chile, Mexico, and Colombia, where the company has been investing in new data centers, and open to recruit professionals for roles including Construction Manager, Facilities Installation Manager, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineers and Project Manager.

Earlier this month, DigitalBridge announced another expansion of its data center portfolio with the acquisition of a 24MW hyperscale data center in Santa Clara, California for $539 million. This facility is expected to expand the Vantage SDC (Stabilized Data Centers) platform, which is a portfolio of hyperscale data centers formed in July 2020 through a $3.5 billion partnership between a DigitalBridge-led investor group and Vantage Data Centers with a plan to establish joint footprints across North America markets.

As announced, the new 100+ Scala Data Centers open job positions can be seen in the company’s publications on LinkedIn. And candidates can send their resume to the email address: re**********@sc**************.com.
