EXPANDING ITS CLOUD CONNECTIVITY PORTFOLIO
South Korean KT Corp. has just acquired cloud colocation and connectivity service provider Epsilon Telecommunications with colocation facilities in London, Singapore and New York.
For a total of $145 million (KRW 170 billion), KT Corp. now have ownership of Epsilon’s portfolios including its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform Infiny which provides businesses with a suite of connectivity and communications services, as well as Epsilon data center facilities.
KT Corp. will also benefits from Epsilon’s fully managed connectivity services to deliver connectivity to data centers, clouds and internet exchanges through Epsilon’s global private backbone network.

In Korea, KT Corp. has a nationwide coverage and 13 hyperscale data centers. Internationally, the company has its corporate entities or operations spread across Africa, Asia, Europe and the US with 28 points of presence (Data and IP PoPs) in 12 countries and 2 international data centers.
