MARKET EXPANSION STRATEGY
Google Cloud has just hired Lori Mitchell-Keller and George Nazi as senior executives to help in driving its telecommunication and media market strategies.
Mitchell-Keller is joining Google Cloud as the former General Manager of Consumer Industries at SAP, the world leading ERP software provider where she worked for 13 years. Mitchell-Keller will now be leading Google Cloud in its market expansion vision as the Vice President for Industry Solutions.
“I’m excited to work with Google Cloud’s channel partners to help our industry customers transform business models and entire industries. I look forward to building strong relationships with our partners to ensure we’re building the right solutions that help them continue to grow and succeed,” said Mitchell-Keller.
Nazi is also joining the cloud giant after serving as the Senior Managing Director of communications and media division at Accenture, a position he held for about seven years. Previously, he was executive vice president of Alcatel-Lucent and president of global customer delivery. Nazi is now Google Cloud’s global vice president of telecommunication, media, and entertainment industry solutions, while he will be reporting to Mitchell-Keller.
“It’s an honor to join Google Cloud, a leader in telco, media, and entertainment that has a strong track record of collaboration with customers and partners such as AT&T, Vodafone, Viacom, Activision Blizzard King, and more,” said Nazi.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to shape our long-term strategy and to empower our customers with Google Cloud’s innovative technologies and solutions.”
Both vice presidents are expected to help Google Cloud in advancing its market strategies and business footprints in line with the company’s vision, led by its CEO Thomas Kurian. Their wealth of experience and commitment is further expected to boost Google Cloud market share significantly and sustainably.
Few weeks ago, Google also hired the executive director of the Defense Innovation Board, Joshua Marcuse. He came on board as Google Cloud head of strategy and innovation for global public sector.
